The Blackbird is a no thrills, what you see is what you get coffee shop. The coffee, food and service is outstanding. We stopped by on a Saturday morning and was pleased to find this shop in the southern end of Port Angeles, they have a brisk business at the drive thru window and still manage to make you feel welcome as a walk in customer. Stump Town is The Blackbird roaster and the barista we had did Stump Town proud. The mocha was well made and the hot coco got a two thumbs up from my child who is a great H.C. drinker. They have all kinds of sweets and sandwiches, that are baked locally, and the sandwiches made right there while you wait. It cant get any better than this. So next time you are in Port Angeles, go off the beaten trail and look up The Blackbird, you will love it.
