Sage Coffee in Raton New Mexico is one to keep in mind when you are close by, traveling on the I-25. It is a wonderful, small coffee shop that has lots of charm, and cozy ambiance. We discovered it this year on our Java Journey 2024, and it proved to be a favorite for us.
Sage Coffee House
Sage Coffee is tucked in a little strip mall on the corner of South Second Street and Clayton Road, if you see Domino’s Pizza, you are in the right spot. The decor is nice, and pleasing to the eye. The seating area is small, but spacious without feeling crowded, and there is also some outside seating. Parking is no issue with a large parking lot out front.

What made Sage Coffee a winner for us was the friendly greeting, and service we got when we walked. The espresso drinks were spot on, and the pastries were fantastic! There are breakfast sandwiches on the menu ,as well an impressive list of caffeine and non-caffeine drinks. If you are a Red Bull fan they got you covered, too.
It is nice to see such a wonderful and outstanding coffee shop in Raton, NM. They opened their doors in the fall of 2021, and have been on the rise ever since.
