Perkatory, a gateway to coffee heaven..

Perkatory is a gateway to coffee heaven, is located in the downtown district of Trinidad, CO.  Nestled  is a office building, this shop serves up a bit of the macabre along with your cup of favorite 

We discovered this shop on our way back from AZ this past summer, and it was a nice place to get a good cup of coffee and excellent espresso drink. What I liked about this shop was the decor, it is a fun combination of steampunk and the macabre, and it really grabbed my attention. Perkatory shares the floor space with several offices in a large building, so the lobby seating is limited, and the restrooms are down the hallway, but overall this a fun place to go to indulge in your passion for coffee. They have a fair number of offerings of non coffee drinks as well, including a tea wall that is worth checking out. The coffee is roasted in Colorado Springs by Spanish Peaks Coffee Roasters.

What does Perkatory offers?

The food we got was locally made breakfast burritos that were wholesome, and filling, and the pastries were delicious as well. There is a soup and sandwich selection if your arrival time is closer to lunch than breakfast. 

I noticed Perkatory is very community centered, and welcoming to everyone, not just the business people. Being there, and drinking my coffee did encourage me to see what else downtown Trinidad had to offer.
