Description:Murchie’s is the oldest and most popular coffee and tea purveyor in Victoria. We were on our way through a walking tour of down town Victoria, checking out the local hot spots when we came upon Murchie’s, we were taken back in time to when tea and coffee shops took up a entire store front. The food is made there fresh, the pastries and desserts are top line and are very, very good. The coffee was very good and the service was top line. Our order was placed on a fancy metal tray. There is a real tea salon and a meeting room, were tea drinkers can have there tea and goodies and a outdoor patio that look outs on the mall that is on Government Street. Make Murchie’s a must stop on your coffee quest, you are in for a real treat.
